Training Programs
Narconon training courses have both theory and practical sections, some with hands-on apprenticeships. The trainee studies a series of courses which bring him or her to an ability to apply in actual substance abuse prevention and treatment all of the Narconon program skills and technology and/or administrative expertise.
The courses include education and training in the components of individual counseling; course supervision; the unique sauna sweat-out program; the life skills courses, including ethics, personal values and integrity; drug education; and all of the administrative functions that translate into a viable and successful Narconon organization. It makes a complete intensive package, producing specialists in every staff and technical function of the Narconon program. One can study all or part of the package, as appropriate.
These courses are also applicable for adoption and use in existing institutions or drug rehabilitation programs as well as for directly creating new Narconon centers.Narconon program training graduates can be found today all over the world. Some have graduated from the Narconon rehabilitation program and then gone on to administer it after staff training and apprenticeship. Others have come to Narconon to train with varied former schooling or field experience.

NARCONON TRAINING SUCCESS
This story is written by Dr. Muhammad Sharif executive director Narconon Hyderabad Pakistan.
"I am gerneral practioner in Hyderabad Pakistan. Most of the patients come to me for general medical problem but few were suffering from drug addiction. They have been treated so many times by the doctors but after medical treatment relapse rate is very high. So I was in serch of right technology to treat and rehabilitate these drug addicts. Through the internet I find the Narconon Program that was very much wonderful for me. So I decided to study and know this procedure and I invited mr. Clark Carr, President of Narconon International, to Paktistan in February 2002 to introduce this wonerful procedure of drug rehabilitation and education. Clark Carr deliver one workshop in Karachi and one in Islamabad and introduced this wonerful technology to Pakistani people. Since then I applied for license for executive director and in touch with Narconon Int. and Clark Carr.
CONDITION OF DRUG REHABILITATION AND DRUG EDUCATION IN PAKISTAN
There are about 5.6 million drug addicts in Pakistan who are taking different types of drugs like heroin, hashish, alcohol, opium, tranquilizers, bhang, sniffing glue and so many local drugs. There is no rehabilitation pprogram for these drug addicts. The medical facilities are not good and relapse rate is very high about 94% and people understand that it is a untreatable disease.
NARCONON WORK IN HYDERABAD PAKISTAN
We have got very resources and started drug education and different programs for raising awareness against drugs among people like walk and discussion in street level to the street children but we are not trained people so we can't completely help them by treating them i.e I write to Clark Carr to train us so that we could completely apply Narconon program in Pakistan. The incomplete program can't produce 100% results. So, Clark Carr and Narconon International given me the chance to train in Sweden for three months in basic methods of NARCONON Program. After my training,we will be able to deliver our services very effectively. Narconon will start producing good results in Pakistan. It is the need of time in Pakistan to rehabilitate these drug addicts and drug education is also very much important for people for prevention because prevention is better than cure. Narconon program is wonderful and we have a group in Hyderabad that is in contact with government, generous people and other medical practioner. This whole group consist of Mr.MOHD ASRAF,ASLAM JANI, ATA-UR-REHMAN, AWAIS, ATIF ,DR.JAVED HASSAN KHAN , JUNAID,CHAND MOHD, SHABIR AHMED, DR.KHALID AHMED KHAN, SALIM ARAIN, FAREED QURESHI, HAMID , SHEERAZ and so many other people invited Clark Carr second time in Hyderabad in december 2002.We met Clark carr to city administrators, arrange press conferance, drug education program in school and lecture in medical college. Now, the Narconon is well introduced and working within its capacity in Hyderabad but we need trained people to deliver our services as quick as possible in Hyderabad because so many people are dying and having miserable lives due to drug addiction. We want to save the coming generation from the evil effects of drugs and rehabilitate those who have become addict. Now, I am getting trained in Narconon Huddinge very well. The suprvisor are good and I am going my studies well. But the main thing which I understand is that the time of three months is short for me because I have to learn so many things and in future I would like to trained other people who are working with us. Because we need big staff to face this problem. I have come to know so many wins, like how to concentrate, how to confront, how to find the origination, how to control other people by communication and by force, how to bring the person in present time and how to handle hallucinations and delusions and so many other things which will be helpfull for me and in rehabilitation program.
Thanks to L.RON HUBBARD WHO INVENTED THIS PROGRAM FOR THE DRUG ADDICTS."
